Are the Radical Draft Two Benchmarks Gone or Just Hiding?

Regardless, it is critical that MDE not only not mandate horrible policy, but MDE should restrict corrupted districts from imposing this on their students, parents, families, and teachers. All of that horrible policy from sexual orientating, genderizing, drug-experimentation-encouraging, promiscuity encouraging, to the HIV-prep-drug encouraging should be restricted. Public comments on record have a permanent effect and MDE has stated they will not include Draft 2 Comments in the record as the survey used was not official.

Draft 3, for which you can comment through February 9th, 2026, will have all comments recorded against and by the agency and its conduct will be measurable by responsiveness to this final round. MDE retreated, after Draft 2, from imposing an express woke takeover in the text properly within the rulemaking, but are they just repositioning from vague text that they think they can leverage or that still perfectly suits the woke textbooks? Draft 3 still lists the "Future of Sex initiative's Sex Education for Social Change as a source: https://siecus.org (click to see their Sex Health Education Standards 2nd Ed.)

A further thought about the Agency's change from Draft 2 to Draft 3:

Whereas Draft 2 laid out an almost unbelievably woke nightmare upon Minnesota's children, the agency seems to wish to sidestep the public rejection of at, which could be deemed to fit under the Draft 3 mandate. MDE does plan to include any of the Draft 2 public comments in the official record. Thus, everything that needed to be said about Draft 2 is warranted to be included in Draft 3. It is entirely possible that the agency (MDE) may deny having been bowled back, by public criticism to Draft 2, subsequently suggesting guidance, which might misrepresent as being "Rule," .
